As Mathieu Hanotin, mayor of Saint-Denis, puts it, "We've put this pride on the pediment of the city hall, and we want to share it, because we want to show that this is Saint-Denis, that we're a multicultural, cosmopolitan society, and that we're proud of it".
This was the second time in 2024 that Les Petits Français produced a symphonic ceremony in which omnipresent and multicultural live music brought together the richness of our differences in a magical interlude during which even the weather smiled on us.
With the City of Lights abuzz just hours before the opening ceremony, Saint-Denis celebrated the last leg of the Olympic Torch Relay with elegance and pride. In dialogue with the thousand-year-old basilica cathedral, final resting place of the kings and queens of France, the lightness of the scenography and the nobility of the calm staging reflect the image of a proud city.

14 840 spectators were welcomed in the stands , an all-time record for a French Handball Championship match. This exceptional attendance is a reflection of the fans' unwavering enthusiasm and support for their team. The fervour in the stands was palpable, and applause echoed as a standing ovation for France's champions.
Titled "The Final Game", the evening was also an opportunity to pay a heartfelt tribute to Nikola Karabatic, captain of the team and a global handball icon with a legendary career to his name.
For this unique occasion, our mission was to multiply emotions tenfold, and it was thanks to the array of technical effects, combining mapping with light, sound and special effects, that the public was immersed in an unforgettable experience.
On May 31st, 2024, we had the honour of producing and staging an evening that will be etched in the history of French sports. This celebration of PSG's victory in the French Handball Championship was a memorable event, a true symphony of passion and emotion.

This memorable season, culminating in the proudly Parisian club's 12th Ligue 1 title – its 50th trophy – called for an even more exceptional ceremony than ever before. With at its core the desire to celebrate the team's journey by fully involving its steadfast supporters, the essence of the show had to be carried by a unifying gesture that fostered harmony between the pitch and the stands. It was in keeping with this spirit of contagious celebration that we created an ensemble of effects in which technology took on an organic expression.
At the center of the field, the heart of the stadium,Thomas Roussel's orchestra performed epic themes composed for the occasion, while projections on a semi-transparent suspended screen, along with light, flames, and pyrotechnics, amplified the emotions generated by the musicians. One sequence in particular, the "Twelfth Man", which paid tribute to PSG supporters by playing one of the most famous songs of the Virage Ultra Paris, triggered a huge response from the audience in the stands, making the Parc des Princes the most fervent of choirs.
This event on the evening of May 12th, the media response to which was exceptional, once again proves that our perseverance in using technology to convey emotion and content guarantees the lasting success of an event.
"A truly grand (...) sound and light show, the like of which has rarely been seen. The promise was truly fulfilled."
- Canal+
"A spectacular show. Probably the most lavish ever organized at the Parc des Princes (...)"
- L'Équipe
"It's simply magnificent!"
- Le Parisien
We are proud to have supported PSG, for the third consecutive year, in their ambition to celebrate the end of the season in a grand and generous manner.

But why call on Les Petits Français to inaugurate a bus route? Because every project we take on we approach as a challenge, and every project has cultural, accessible and spectacular dimensions.
We envisioned Dakar’s BRT as the backbone of this vibrant and joyful city and, from there, built an innovative visual, musical and poetic narrative – a timeless tale embodied by a semi-transparent set that undergoes a metamorphosis, a place where destinies and generations meet to share this public asset that reconnects inhabitants and communities.
In the spirit of imparting values, and thanks to cutting-edge technology, candid dialogue and choreography, the ceremony gave the Senegalese people a peek into the future of their country as it undergoes a major transformation.
Designing the BRT pilot line project for a 100% electric bus fleet is part of an ambitious strategy to bring sustainable urban mobility to the Senegalese capital.

This was the second edition of our collaboration with Amaclio Productions at Mont Saint Michel, the first, in 2022, having given visitors an insight into the lives of the monastery’s monks. This time we decided to put the public to the test, by following a creative process of elevation conducive to contemplation. We used lights to magnify the buildings, sound to encourage silence and projections to visually transform the surroundings, we created an intimate emotional pace rising into a crescendo over the course of 10 chapters as visitors strolled around the abbey in their own time.
Despite the obstacles we were faced with – limits on equipment, which needed to be airlifted in, the fact that the site had to be kept free of obstructions, and that working hours were restricted by daytime operations and monastic life – we once again pulled off the mission entrusted to us, deploying technology in the interests of content and emotion. During the two summer months that the show ran, much to our delight, over 47,000 spectators accepted the invitation to embark on a physical and spiritual elevation.
In the year of Mont Saint Michel Abbey’s 1,000th anniversary celebrations, as visitor numbers hit an all-time high, we designed and staged this immersive stroll as a counterpoint to the frenetic activity on the site, as a hiatus in today’s busy and restless world.
The technological installations, which had to be carefully concealed within the confines of the location, took visitors on a physical, spiritual and emotional journey of elevation to the highest reaches of the so-called Wonder of the Western World. The chancel of the abbey church underwent a metamorphosis before visitors’ eyes, fostering a moment of timeless introspection on universal values.

It's a rare, and therefore all the more remarkable, feat to produce, in such a short space of time, a show on such a large scale, in which narrative and artistic expression interact with the world of sport.
Bearing a positive message of openness and respect, this surprising and poetic ceremony made a lasting impression, both in Morocco and internationally. Four complementary threads underpinned this dynamic, contemporary event: its human dimension, its pace and energy, its omnipresent and radiant light and, finally, an explosion of colour.
The ceremony was a testament to Morocco's love of football, while also offering a good dose of cultural added value by giving spectators an insight into the country's heritage and commitment to the values of openness and respect.
This successful venture marked our first collaboration with our talented Moroccan partners, the events agency Avant Scène.
The best judge of our work is the public, so we'll leave you with their words: "The FIFA Club World Cup kicked off in Tangiers on Wednesday with a breathtaking and colourful spectacle that showcased a diverse, ancient, modern, open, hospitable Morocco that is passionate about football."
The Club World Cup was one of those projects that are rife with challenges, and in which creativity, team spirit, methodology and experience prove absolutely crucial.
Designing, producing and delivering a major ceremony in five weeks is a huge challenge. Equipping an empty stadium with all the technologies needed for a spectacular show is another. Writing, directing, choreographing, casting and producing costumes for performers, and producing original content were just some of the challenges we relished taking on!

On top of these constraints came the objectives that were essential to the success of the event, which needed to be for the general public, international, accessible to even the youngest visitors, and draw on the actual history of the abbey. With this in mind, the formula we put in place was based on an artistic direction taking the form of cultural mediation conveyed via emotions, first and foremost.
In order to engage all the senses and really delve into the story, we used as our main vector a portable audio system. When individually triggered, this made for a simultaneously personal and collective experience. At certain points along the route, this close-up sound is supplemented by ambient sound systems that give a fuller, more spatial sound.
Similarly, two complementary approaches were applied to the visual register: physical and virtual. "Anamorphic installations" were installed in certain rooms to help everyone, especially children, to anchor the audio narrative in reality.
In the darkest corners or at dusk, light and projections elevated the setting and further illustrated the story recounted. Finally, a number of special effects were woven into the tapestry of techniques deployed to make visitors’ overall experience as immersive as possible.
Creating an immersive stroll and show that takes visitors back to the abbey of the Middle Ages is an exciting challenge. Several physical constraints had to be contended with: the building had to be carefully preserved, conditions were very cramped in certain areas, the installations had to be discreet and, perhaps the most complex point – it was crucial for the show to offer the same quality by day as at dusk and at night.

At such an event, attended by senior officials and specialists from all over the world, the stakes are incredibly high. The opening ceremony, the main focal point, needed to bring out this edition’s themes in a spectacular and accessible way.
In less than 72 hours, Dakar Arena was transformed into a showcase where technology, human performance, meaning and messages expressed the Forum’s values and highlighted the challenges it seeks to address.
The World Water Forum is held every three years, providing a platform for global collaboration on water issues bringing together the main environmental stakeholders.
One month after inaugurating Diamniadio Olympic Stadium, Les Petits Français and their team returned to Senegal to design and stage the opening and closing ceremonies of the ninth edition of the Forum.

As the Senegal national football team, the Lions of Teranga, were crowned African champions for the first time, President Macky Sall celebrated his team’s victory in Cameroon on February 6, 2022, and officially announced the inauguration of the Diamniadio Olympic Stadium.
This was quite a feat, considering that in the space of just a month, the stadium – the construction of which had only begun in 2020 – was not only completed but ready to host senior international officials as they attended a decidedly ambitious ceremony.
Mission accomplished, thanks to their expertise and a truly extraordinary collaboration with the Senegalese authorities and people.
On the evening of February 22, 2022, Diamniadio’s brand new sporting heart started to beat, for over five exhilarating hours of noble and spectacular festivities.
With four years to go before the Youth Olympic Games, which will be held on the African continent for the first time, the government’s Plan for an Emerging Senegal is proving to be remarkably dynamic.
Les Petits Français were invited to participate in this great national adventure by contributing their know-how in sporting events and ceremonies.

OUT OF THE ORDINARY!
While the pandemic meant that travel and social contact were heavily restricted and filling a stadium to capacity was not something that could be taken for granted, the ambition to produce a grand and different opening ceremony remained strong.
In April 2021 we were contacted by Agence Publics Qatar and Katara Studios to form a working group whose goal would be to produce a ceremony that was out of the ordinary in terms of both form and content. This ceremony took place one year to the day before the 2022 WorldCup.
Different in content: a ceremony that carries a message to the Arab world, a message of unity and tolerance embodied by unifying characters that have travelled through time Joha, the wise fool, a folklore hero of the oral tradition, accompanied by his faithful companion, the Donkey, meets two deepfakes – famous actors from the 1970s. Their adventures lead the audience to ponder the need to better live together, to accept each other and to be nourished by our differences, which, all too often, can be a source of conflict in the region.
The appearance of the celebrated singer Fairuz, also rejuvenated in the form of a deepfake, concludes this musical and quasi-theatrical epic that is at odds with the classic format of sports ceremonies.
To end the ceremony with the same wish for unity, the national anthems of the 23 countries are reinterpreted in an original composition that is all about emotion.
Different in form: the format of the ceremony was one of a kind in the realm of integrated sports ceremonies, comprising 32 minutes of entertainment between the end of the players' warm-up and kick-off.
The ceremony made clever use of cutting-edge technology and content – deepfakes, TikTok, etc – that serve to update codes in order to connect with the younger generations.
With this ceremony that paves the way for the 2022 World Cup, Qatar has ramped up expectations to new heights.

"At the time, the novel coronavirus was spreading around the world, leading to a series of cancellations and growing sadness and cultural frustration.
Eugenie and Igor, the two protagonists of the piece, were already written, composed and ready to love each other, but were desperately waiting to meet, tragically separated in their story, but also in life, which was taking a tragic turn… It seems their love will conquer all, and tonight, for the first time, they will finally save and love each other onstage, before your very eyes.
After a heart-rending, months-long absence of shows, we now know how essential it is to be moved, to travel, to escape.
More than ever, we need to dream – together."
It was with these words, on the evening of October 21, 2021, that Mélanie launched the one and only performance of this aquatic opera of a new kind.
We worked with Mélanie and her team on the scenography and realization of her creation, devising the most beautiful of settings: a stage made entirely of water and equipped with a pit and special effects, a stage cage offering several projection surfaces, and a high-performance 3D flight system.
To round off our artistic collaboration, we also undertook the design and production of the 3D audio and video-mapping.
“Les Larmes d'Eugénie” (“Eugenis’s tears”) is an opera written by Mélanie Laurent in 2020 for the Haute Joaillerie Gala held at the Grand Palais in Paris.

We are grateful to the Centre des Monuments Nationaux for their active cooperation both in developing and implementing the content.
As the concept had to comply with pandemic-related restrictions, we designed and staged an immersive show-itinerary, where visitors could stroll about alone or in small groups.
The keystone of this adventure was the embedded narration delivered via autonomous headsets, with the relevant sequences being activated according to the spectators’ positions as they walk around.
We wanted to give history a new lease of life to make it accessible to as broad a spectrum of people as possible. This was achieved by having a group of kids, young "pirates of the airwaves", chipping in along the way while the guide delivered his talk.
As night began to fall, the itinerary was transformed by projections, lighting and special effects that illustrated the narrative in real time.
Afresh, impetuous, and fantastic adventure that (re)visits codes and reconnects history with younger generations, using the best of technology to serve the show’s content.
While the COVID-19 pandemic was still rife, the medieval City of Carcassonne re-opened with a night-time show.

Dassault Systèmes announced "Water for Life", the second act of "The Only Progress is Human", its initiative to raise awareness of the social and environmental challenges we face today, as well as to inspire the use of virtual worlds to envision sustainable innovations.
To present this second act, at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic was at its peak, preventing gatherings, Dassault Systèmes chose to turn to the latest in filming technology: virtual/XR studio.
And so began a pioneering adventure, with ERA Conseils and Les Petits Français exploring the possibilities afforded by this budding new technology, an exciting journey, during the design and testing phases of which we discovered that the codes of XR production were closer to those associated with large-scale shows than traditional sets.
Armed with these familiar codes, we created an original concept in the form of a road story in which two men, Bernard Charlès and Mike Horn, wove together the real and the virtual.
This film, made in one day, highlights the mission of Dassault Systèmes, from concept to completion: to offer companies and individuals collaborative virtual environments that enable them to imagine more sustainable innovations.
With its new "Water for Life" campaign, Dassault Systèmes aims to empower industry to be smarter about its consumption of the world's most precious resource: water.

The dinner was held in the heart of Paris – in the Pavilion Gabriel on the Champs Elysees.
Numerous terraces allowed organizers to experiment with lighting and outdoor décor: guests enjoyed making pictures with branded sculptures of Russian dolls covered with colorful lighting. The entertaining program was focused on world famous Urals-born Russian entrepreneurs and scientists, such as Mendeleev, Diaghilev and Demidov in a performance which brought a number of famous Russian actors, musicians and singers from Russia to Paris for the event. The national character of Russia was also reflected in the menu: Russian-style drinks and dishes were designed to support the theme.
Straight after a crucial presentation in support of Ekaterinburg’s bid to host the World Expo in 2025 at the General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) held in Paris in June 2018, Eventica in collaboration with Les Petits Français was commissioned by Ekaterinburg 2025 Bidding Committee to stage an impactful gala-dinner to entertain World Expo stakeholders and to create a memorable impression of Ekaterinburg’s bid.
This first edition of FILUSA was organized by the Municipality of Santiago in collaboration with the Corporation for the Development of Santiago, Cordesan, sponsored by Banco de Chile and produced by Icardi Producciones.

The festival took place over 3 consecutive days from 8.30 pm to 11.30 pm, illuminating emblematic building slocated in key points of the city. Video mapping, sound and light shows, dance and urban happenings were some of the resources used to create a multimedia experience never seen before.
The evening's festivities included the participation of renowned international artists, who developed urban art installations for the event. Among them, French Show designer Martin Arnaud, Founder, and Director of the company Les Petits Français, and Catalan choreographer Hansel Cereza, known as one of the founding team members of the company La Fura Dels Baus and choreographic Director of Cirque du Soleil.
The spectators went through 10 important areas of the municipality: Plaza de Armas, Parque Forestal, Museo Arte de Luz, Museo Bellas Artes, Cerro Santa Lucía, Basílica de la Merced, Museo de Santiago Casa Colorada and Municipal de Santiago.
In addition, the event included a multimedia show on the façade of the Banco de Chile's headquarters, as part of the celebration of its 125th anniversary.
Although in Chile it is the first Light International Festival, it is not new in the world and major capitals also have events of this magnitude: in Sydney it is known as "Vivid", in Moscow as "Circle of light", "Fête des Lumières" in Lyon, to name but a few. In Chile, this festival was born with its own identity, where once a year it seeks to show art in a different and unique way, inviting the community to enjoy the city in a massive nocturnal event, where all members of the family have a space.
Until the closing of this great cultural festival, the Mayor, Felipe Alessandri, spoke and stressed that "the neighbours of the municipality and the inhabitants of the metropolitan region in general were able to enjoy a world-renowned show, which highlighted heritage buildings and emblematic places in the municipality showing us the city from a totally new and unprecedented perspective.”
The objective of the organizers is to invite citizens to appreciate the art from a unique and different point of view, in addition to positioning FILUSA as one of the most important Light Festival in Latin America.
More than 350 000 people attended the first edition of FILUSA, Light International Festival in Santiago de Chile.

We would like to thank all of the 22 City of Paris schools that participated in producing drawings in the show, and also the City's Plastic Arts teachers.
For the third edition of this event, the City of Paris called on Les Petits Français to design and produce the celebration to welcome in the new year by putting on a show featuring video mapping, light and pyrotechnics and accompanied by an original soundtrack.
This year, more than any other year, the City of Paris was determined not only to mark the occasion with those present at the event on the Champs-Elysées, but also to address its good wishes to each nation, while affirming its freedom to the ears and eyes of the world.
The majestic show consisted of eight segments, over the course of which the Place de l'Etoile greeted the world and the metamorphoses of the Arc de Triomphe took us on a journey into the present and future of a creatively vibrant City of Light.
600 000 spectators gathered on "the most beautiful avenue in the world" to see in the year 2017 under the gaze of an Arc de Triomphe decked out in the Olympic colors in a nod to Paris's candidacy to host the Summer Olympics and Paralympics in 2024.

The formula was simple but effective: a stage equipped with a large screen, fresh and dynamic content, a corporate tone - but not overly so - talented musicians… and the magic happens when live and multimedia elements are woven together in perfect harmony.
For the occasion of the inauguration of its new head offices, MCI, a world leader in conference and event management, called on Les Petits Français to setup a festive and cordial "impromptu".

The concept we chose to create and implement consisted of an adventure made up of five interactive, participatory, contemplative, and festive areas using different and complementary techniques and media, the objective being to offer a totally diverse gamut of experiences.
A truly original work, all these installations were created and produced especially for the event and distributed over the whole esplanade from the Grande Arche to the Bassin Takis:
Water concert
A musical style, water effects, a range of colors: thanks to interactive terminals, participants activated the Agam fountain in the form of a concert allying water, sound, and light!
Urban vertigo
The "Bridge of Every Danger" opened up the ground of La Défense, uncovering the subterranean life "under the paving stones" of the business district, thanks to a system of projections of anamorphoses.
Shared moods
Reflections of their emotions, the participants express themselves through interactive tablets to set in motion a mysterious, multi-colored cloud in the middle of the esplanade in a visual and musical symphony.
Silence! We're dancing
Equipped with a cordless headset, the public took part in a silent disco at the foot of Bernar Venet's sculpture, in the heart of the Quartier Michelet.
Fire drums
Ready to play with fire and water, participants joined crazy conductor, Pierre Caillot. Using interactive drums, they trigger flames, water jets and geysers on the Bassin Takis in a splendid collective visual and musical choreography.
To ensure active participation from the public, we developed and produced a dedicated interactive app (iPhone and Android).
Each installation was the result of a complex production process, due to the fact that the technologies we used were especially developed for the event.
"Nuits Urbaines" was the first event of this type organised in Paris-La Défense.
From September 24th to 26th, 2015, as night began to fall, "Nuits Urbaines" brought to life Europe's foremost business quarter to "give it a new face" and make it a cultural hotspot, accessible to everyone.

In the middle of a 50-metre pool (7 850m2), a hovering cube, which undergoes constant metamorphoses throughout the ceremony in order to dramatically present the strength and modernity of African youth and the balance between sport and local culture.
On the heels of a gymnastic pre-show offered by the Chinese delegation, the ceremony, composed of 10 main scenes, represented a nation proud of its roots and confident in its future.
Almost 1 000 local performers in communion with a highly ambitious technical set-up (rigging, machinery, video mapping, special effects, pyrotechnics) made for a ceremony in which form and content converged perfectly.
Offering a total immersion in local culture, the ceremony revisited traditions and honored oral tradition, but was also anchored in modernity with a good dose of that particular brand of pride of Congolese young people.
Due to the sporting competitions taking place on the site of the ceremony, we were only able to "take possession" of the venue two days before the show. We therefore had to put in place a complex logic of rehearsals, separating the live elements from the technical, in order to bring the two together once on site, at the last minute.
To add to the challenge, which was already complicated by the Games schedule, a sandstorm blew up (something which the Congolese could not remember ever seeing happen there before) during our pre-show, two hours before the ceremony. Thanks to the incredible technical team and the determination of all participants, the show took place in optimum conditions, much to the spectators' surprise.
A unique and innovative 360° show, performed on the ground, but also in the air…

On this exceptional night, the Place de l'Etoile became the crossroads where the city's emblematic monuments entered into dialogue thanks to the metamorphoses of the Arc de Triomphe.
Under the aegis of the Mairie de Paris and organized by the Comité des Champs-Elysées, more than 600 000 spectators attended a majestic show designed and produced by Les Petits Français on the "most beautiful avenue in the world".
On this exceptional night, the Place de l'Etoile became the crossroads where the city's emblematic monuments entered into dialogue thanks to the metamorphoses of the Arc de Triomphe.
A dynamic, interconnected Paris is expressed in the evolution of transport towards soft modes.
Paris, timeless world capital of art and culture, creation, and innovation.
The Arc takes on a catastrophic allure, acting as a spokesperson for the climate challenge to which Paris is committed at COP21, to be held in November and December 2015.
The last moments of 2014 transformed the Arc de Triomphe into a work of digital art, with the architecture changing perspective, multiplying tenfold and beating time by the second to mark the transition to the new year.
2015 is written in gold letters on the pediment of the building, giving life to a pyrotechnic crescendo that sets the sky over the Place de l'Etoile ablaze in a powerful chromatic evolution from warm tones to pure white.
Paris welcomed the New Year and bid farewell to 2014 in grandiose fashion, under the impetus of Madame la Maire!

Just off the Place de l'Étoile, a HQE building was constructed a few years ago: organised around a green patio and covered with roofing where beehives and wild grasses thrive year-round, SCOR's HQ is a magnificent site that offers a pleasant working environment.
After a series of tests and an in-depth study of the most suitable equipment, a detailed study was submitted in December 2014.
Ranked fourth in the world in its industry, SCOR is a French reinsurance group.
Les Petits Français were invited to come up with permanent "show" lighting taking into account a reasoned consumption and the cycles of the resident nature.

The couple’s adventures, drawn from their reveries, their memories, or the comical situations they experience in the airport terminal, are the opportunity for an outlandish journey to the four corners of the world, with no constraints of time or place.
Monumental projections and spectacular pyrotechnics transported the 50 000 spectators present on the esplanade from Egypt to China, via the Silk Road, and on to Australia, Africa, New York, and Brazil…
The show in figures:
– A 10-minute pre-show, followed by an original show lasting over 40 minutes and made up of 13 sequences and a pyrotechnical grand finale
– 5 months from concept to completion
– 39 video projectors covering the whole of the Grande Arche
– 14 towers of light and sound equipment and over 120 sources
– 542 kg of active matter and more than 10 000 projectiles
– An artistic and technical team of more than 100 people
In April 2010, the eruption of the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajökull caused a phenomenal paralysis of our air space. This unprecedented incident gave rise to the imaginary journey of a couple stuck in an airport, a show designed and produced by Les Petits Français.

A fascinating theme: Space!
From the Big Bang to the appearance of life, then the conquest of space and encounters with mysterious extra-terrestrials, the show delved into our solar system, with the help of a large-scale scenographical programme.
Thanks to the technique of video-mapping, the façade of the Grande Arche was metamorphosed by projections that altered its appearance for the duration of this journey into space. The original soundtrack coupled with a voice-over made it possible to guide and transport spectators during the show. The water screen, 50 meters wide by 18 meters high, created an exceptional holographic projection surface to add another dimension to the piece. Last but not least, pyrotechnics lent precision and elegance to the sequences, while a rich and powerful grand finale took the audience’s breath away.
For almost 40 minutes, the Parvis de la Défense was became the stage for an exciting and playful space odyssey – taking some 50 000 spectators along for the ride. The team enlisted the expertise of Christophe Galfard, Doctor of Theoretical Physics, renowned for his ability to make science accessible to abroad audience.
A key figures:
- 15 minutes of pre-show
- 35 minutes of show
- 32 video projectors
- 12 structures for sound transmission and light equipment
- 1 water screen, 50 meters wide by 18 meters high
- 500 kg of active pyrotechnical material and almost 15 000 projectiles
On the initiative of Defacto, in charge of managing and promoting the business district of La Défense, the vast square of the Parvis de la Défense played host to a multimedia and pyrotechnical show created and produced by Les Petits Français.

Imbued with the spirit of perseverance, innovation and commitment that is the pride of Comex, a large-scale project specially designed for the ArenaCiudad de México was created, bringing with it a powerful message for the audience.
With the participation of 12 actors, including Andrés Bustamante, Antonio Monroi, Laura de Ita and Silvia Carusillo, as well as dancers and acrobats, the show offered an extraordinary account of the history of Comex, and at the same time celebrated the sensory capacity of humans, which enables us to dream and create.
A polyphonic odyssey, presented via an animated gallery of family photos of the founders, associates and employees, franchise holders and clients relating their experiences, memories and feelings, leading to reunions, sincere hugs, knowing looks, and overflowing with gratitude, pride, joy and affection.
Over 500 pieces of lighting equipment (LEDs, moving spotlights, laser beams, strobes etc), video mapping, special effects, flight, dance, singing… A highly technological show with a message full of promise.
To celebrate 60 years of existence, Comex, Mexico’s leading paint manufacturer, chose Les Petits Français to create and stage a powerful and moving show that would convey to the public the company’s journey, all the shared experiences and the satisfaction garnered over the last six decades, while evoking the vast scope of the group’s prospects for the future.

The purpose of the show was to mark the official opening of the festival and to continue to run throughout the festival.
The show opened on September 28th to mark the Light Festival’s launch, which was attended by the mayor of Moscow. This original version was a 27-minutes show and the production then ran for four more days, with six 24-minute showings every evening.
The general theme of the festival was the energy of light. With an original soundtrack and using innovative technologies, the scenography also included the appearance of a young girl. The theme was related to the origins of life and looked back over the milestones of our shared history. The objective of this celebration was to illustrate the necessity of light to life on earth.
As part of the second edition of the Circle of Light international festival in 2012 held in Moscow, the events agency ECA2 was asked to produce a show to take place on Red Square. Les Petits Français were in charge of the artistic direction and artistic production of this show.

Les Petits Français were entrusted with a mission of projecting images onto the monument’s façade, with the aim of bringing another dimension to the Nativity celebrations.
Every evening a 10-minutes show took place at 15-minutes intervals, as a concert was given inside the church (Christmas cantata).
Chatou Parish contacted Les Petits Français with a project to illuminate the recently renovated Notre Dame church, which stands near Chatou Bridge on the outskirts of the town. The event gave Chatou’s inhabitants the opportunity to rediscover part of their town’s heritage in a new light.

EXP Architectes
Les Petits Français worked in partnership with a young firm of talented architects, EXP Architectes, in order to jointly propose an idea on there development of this city square, incorporating two key factors: an underground car park and one of the emblematic pavilions of the international exhibition, Expo Zaragoza 2008.
The aim of the urban scenography is to bring spatial unity to the city, while preserving Valladolid’s identity and that of its inhabitants. Not far from the city centre, Plaza del Milenio serves as a symbolic place as it borders the River Pisuerga and occupies a pivotal position between the historical centre and the rest of the city.
A meeting point, a hub, a haven, this concourse is well placed to unite people and foster exchange in a natural environment around a modern and ecological pavilion.
The idea is therefore to play on existing elements, to appropriate them so as to enrich and push the urban and natural limits, there by giving this innovative space a unique value.
The Valladolid municipality council asked Les Petits Français to design an innovative and spectacular project for the urban regeneration of a forgotten city square: the Plaza del Milenio.

To define the concept of the show, they drew on the following aims:
– to celebrate the Mexican people and encourage them to continue building the society to which they aspire,
– to showcase its creative force through cultural and cutting-edge technological expressions that would make an impression on all Mexicans.
Like all projects carried out by Les Petits Français, this unique event was conceived and developed exclusively for the occasion.
Over 90 minutes, the show gave a poetic account of the most important moments in the history of Mexico, through music and dance, voices and illuminations, gigantic projections and highly esthetic images, accompanied by special effects that did not fail to surprise the spectators.
More than 12 000 m2 of moving images, 270° projections on Mexico City’s main square, the Zócalo, three “Time Machines” – towers that discreetly housed the lighting, projection, mist, flames and pyrotechnic effects equipments; a central stage, along with three stages at the feet of the “Time Machines”, where more than 300 artists performed, and 100 meters of catwalk joining the four stages, meant the throngs of spectators could be as close as possible to the performers.
More than 1,400 costumes and 600 props evoked the different periods in Mexico’s history; 55 video projectors (20 000 lumens) projected images onto the façades around the square; 12 high-resolution (18 000 lumens) video projectors for 12 tulle screens measuring 9 X 4.5 meters; more than 50 flame generators, as well as a circular pyrotechnic display brought the show to its climax and gave rise to lasting emotions. Faultless sound quality was achieved through the use of 16 Line Array systems, which enabled the original soundtrack to be transmitted from any point on the square according to show requirements.
This contributed to every spectator being able to enjoy a truly unforgettable experience.
With celebrations in 2010 to mark 200 years of independence and the Centenary of the Revolution, Mexico commemorated two major events in its history that have shaped the way Mexicans are today.
Les Petits Français produced a show as part of the celebrations of the Centenary of the Mexican Revolution.

For six days, the façade of Palacio de la Moneda was the star of this show. An audiovisual narrative boasting cutting-edge technology recounted the country’s history from its beginnings. Fragments of poems by Pablo Neruda opened the show. Images on the façade of the palace and on water screens, smoke and pyrotechnic effects lit up the commemoration. The story revisited the pre-Hispanic period and paid tribute to the country’s ethnic groups before coming full circle back to today, offering the Chilean public an opportunity to look back over and relive key moments – those that have shaped their identity.
Images of the Viaducto del Malleco, the earthquake and the 33 miners, as well as of facets of popular culture, such as La Tirana Festival, Condorito and the music of Violeta Parra, brought spectators to tears, both of joy and sadness, and emphasized the qualities of strength, will and tenacity that typify the Chilean people.
Les Petits Français were asked by the President of theRepublic's Bicentenary Commission, with the support of CGE Group, to create amultimedia show to commemorate 200 years of independence in Chile, to beproduced by Icardi Producciones.

To mark the bicentenary of the Paris Bar, Les Petits Français were entrusted with the artistic direction of three choreographed scenes to be performed in the nave of Paris’ Grand Palais. The highly esthetic and symbolic performances, with Man as the central theme, were held in the daytime and at night.

The show is made up of three acts:
– In the first act, projections on screens around the square present Mexican personalities and people, who invite the public to celebrate their country’s independence.
– The second act takes spectators on a journey through history, while emotions are stirred by the appearance of exemplary figures who have influenced Mexican history.
– In the third act, the National Palace is sketched out, then, thanks to unique modeling and projection technology, it starts to move as the very stones of Mexico’s most emblematic building seem to come to life.
Further to the extraordinary success of the show’s initial run, Les Petits Français were asked to put on additional dates throughout November 2009 so that Mexicans who had missed out on the first run could have the opportunity to enjoy this exercise in cultural integration.
To mark the Independence Day of September 15th and anticipating two hundred years of Independence and hundred years of Mexican Revolution, the agency Les Petits Français created and directed an original show staged in Mexico City’s most famous square, the Zócalo

It is a unique work and an original composition in that it combines theatre, dance, live music and projection techniques of a kind usually only seen in large-scale shows.
The play, set against the backdrop of modern India, recounts the epic story of two young lovers. An omnipresent narrator serves to establish a close relationship between the stage and the public by elucidating events as they unfold. Dramatic scenes alternate with lighter moments, mirroring the world of Bollywood, in which all feelings are heightened.
The extraordinary dynamism of the choreographies lends the show a furious pace.
The projection and modelling techniques used add a dimension of emotions not typical of the theatre, which is transformed throughout the show to the considerable surprise of the audience, as they are immersed in a cinematic universe.
Finally, the selected music reprises some of the great theme tunes composed by Bollywood’s musical geniuses. These pieces are performed live.
"Bollywoodland" is a complete show, inspiring a host of emotions in audiences.
The agency Les Petits Français wanted to adapt the concept of Bollywood – famous in the cinema – for the theatre, and came up with a dramatic love story awash with original effects.

For this event, the City asked Les Petits Français to express the services rendered by the city hall to citizens…
The scenography devised intentionally split the show into two distinct parts, two acts.
A 14×9 meter travelling screen was fixed to the façade of the building.
With an original soundtrack and text, postcards representing 100 years unfurled before spectators’ eyes. The voices of actors known all over Spain were used to narrate the key moments in the city’s history.
As the last postcard appeared, linking past and present, Greta, a famous singer, took the floor, signalling a switch from the third person to a first person narrative… her figure standing out against the backdrop of the building’s clock tower… the screen vanishing into darkness…
The mode of expression in the second act was based on the notion that the services provided by the municipality are performed through its employees and staff. The idea was therefore to lend the building an organic expression, to have it breathe and move and to give it substance.
After its structure had been drawn, the building came to life to generate a mobile reinterpretation of the various services and some famous chapters in the history of this Casa Consistorial.
It was only fitting that Valladolid organise a suitably festive celebration to mark the centenary of its city hall... 100 years of local history closely related to 100 years of national history.

Just a few minutes before the final between Germany and Spain…
In Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadion, 50 000 jubilant spectators await the Closing Ceremony with baited breath…
“Waltz of the Nations”
Tribute is paid to the 16 competing nations, represented by Waltzing Puppets on the field.
A three-part waltz of warriors, where the steps reinterpret the competition process on a field in the grips of the wild beat.
The lackeys – acting as masters of ceremony – uncover the ground step by step, enabling the winners to get to the final.
All around the field are 300 “supporters” encouraging the spectators to support their teams.
In May 2007 Martin Arnaud and the agency Auditoire won the international competition launched by UEFA to design, produce and stage the EURO 2008 opening and closing ceremonies.

Expect emotions
In Saint Jakob Stadium, 40 000 spectators attended a festive ceremony, which revisited clichés about Switzerland and Austria with a dynamic and resolutely modern staging that humorously celebrated the two host countries.
600 performers played out the pixel art-inspired images the public expected, set around six key scenes.
The show unfolded in the centre of the field as well as in the stands, where performances by alphornists, percussionists and snow girls punctuated the ceremony.
The Rhine and the Danube rivers met at Lake Constance…
Cows in search of fresh edelweiss were chased about green pastures by shepherds, who were distracted by the attractive “milky girls”, oblivious to their attentions…
Mountains draped in a white mantle of snow so skiers could race down the slopes…
A stop-over in Vienna, where the lackeys didn’t take kindly to their traditional waltz being danced with a Saturday Night Fever flavour…
A homage to the players under mounting pressure in the locker rooms… A human clock counting down the minutes until kick-off…
The ceremony drew to a close with the spectacular sight of the EURO 2008 logo being formed on the ground in the stadium as the sky filled with a pyrotechnical countdown.
In May 2007, Martin Arnaud and the agency Auditoire won the international competition launched by UEFA to design, produce and stage the EURO 2008 opening and closing ceremonies.

El Tajín… The sacred city…
The sacred city of El Tajín is the physical and the spiritual capital of Totonacapan.
El Tajín means “Place of Thunder” in the Totonac language and was also one of the names of their god of thunder, lightning and rain.
The city was created in 300 BC but archaeologists think that this ceremonial and residential city only reached its peak between 800 and 1200 AD.
El Tajín is a pre-Columbian archaeological site located near the vanilla-producing village of Papantla, southeast of Poza Rica, Veracruz in Mexico. This place remains an outstanding example of the magnificence of Totonac civilization. Since 1992, it has been listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.
Night show:
Date: each year, around March 21st
Length of show: 1 hr 15 min
By night, El Tajín offers an incredible and unforgettable experience. Spectators are split into small groups to enable them to see the archaeological site in a different light. The dances, songs, offerings and poems of Totonac tradition are illustrated through the projection of wide-format images, an original soundtrack and the lighting of the pyramids, as the mystery of this fascinating civilization unfold. In this way, spectators have the opportunity to admire famous monuments such as the pyramids of the Arroyo Group, Dios Tajín, the Pyramid of the Niches, and the traditional Juego de Pelota ball court from a new angle.

Frank Gehry used titanium for the first time in the history of contemporary architecture in the design of the Museum.
To celebrate its tenth anniversary, the Museum acquired a masterpiece by Daniel Buren.
On this occasion, Les Petits Français designed a pyrotechnical show based upon an original soundtrack linking the chromatic characteristics of both works.
The seven-minute long “fire” relies on the moving city beat as its traddles the River Nervión.
Among the pyrotechnical products used a pure white (titanium), which launches the show, and warm red shades, ending the show with a nod to the new work inaugurated on that day.

The first segment consisted of staging a dialogue, based on historical facts, between grandfather and grandson. The aim was to emphasize human values such as respect, harmony, caring and sharing.
The second part of the show also drew on these same values. A philharmonic orchestra and choir turned the speech into music, while wide-format projections, lighting, water and fire effects were used to express them in a pictorial way.
To highlight or acknowledge the importance of the city’s patron saint with an upbeat and emotionally charged show to appeal to any audience.
A show comprising a philharmonic orchestra, wide-format projections on an inflated structure, pyrotechnic effects, and the latest in light and sound technologies.
